The food tasted good, the hospitality friendly, but the room too cool.

Sometimes you try hard, but many small things are not right or missing.

The waitresses were nice and tried hard, only the food left a lot to be desired. Salad and french fries ok, the schnitzel (2 large per plate) didn't keep what they promised. E.g. the onion schnitzel was swimming in the fat, the Bolognese schnitzel tasted like bag sauce .... The boss tolerated the criticism very badly .... Those who value more quantity than quality are in good hands there.

We went by bike and unfortunately our other "places to go" were all fully booked. Then we decided to stop at the Kastanienhof and just have a bite to eat. Since we hadn't made a reservation, we got the table right next to the outdoor entrance. After filling out the registration form, it took about 10 minutes. until someone came to take the order for drinks and give us the shrink-wrapped menus, so far so good. Now it took another 10 minutes. until the next waitress came asking for drinks and we pointed out that we had already ordered them. Then all hell broke loose: - A group of guests who had reserved rushed to a free table without waiting: "... that will be ours" and just sat down - no reaction from the waitress. - Next to us, guests were simply seated at a table without at least disinfecting the chairs - as is now customary. - Other guests got up from their table, took their chairs and sat down with friends at another table. - I was called unfriendly by a guest when I had no understanding that several people wanted to sit down at our table without asking. Our drinks were brought (25 min - I know we should have left before). - In the meantime we had noticed that we were apparently sitting at the "Stammtisch" - there were some cigarette butts on the floor between the pebbles - mmmh delicious! Next door they complained that there was no food, drinks were missing. After another 10 minutes they asked what we would like to order to eat. We paid and wanted to go. The registration slip was still on the table. Only after I formally imposed a waitress on him was he collected. Conclusion: Very unprofessional in the current situation!

Super delicious food. Great prices good service

Waitress comes only after request after half an hour had already sat at the table and takes an order for drinks. A short time later she comes to the table without drinks and takes the food order. After about 15 minutes we asked about the drinks and got a pampy answer They come right away but the drinks didn't come but the food we refused to drink because there was still nothing to drink. So we got up and left the restaurant and will no longer enter it. Absolutely not recommendable

We always like to come back, eat very tasty and that too Staff is always friendly.
